The young people of Meru County turned out in great numbers and with expectant hearts.In the words of the area administration, they had never seen anything like this before.
The Spread Truth team together with our valuable partners from the National Youth Council and the county government of Meru officially kicked of the Meru Youth Clinic.
Interventions and programs were deployed to spread hope in this community.
The story of this area is one of desolation, hopelessness and heartbreaking situations.In the Kikao setting we heard of the stories of young girls who have no ability to buy underpants let alone sanitary towels.In a small way, we have endevoured to touch their lives.
Our people in this location truly need to hear the word of truth as their lives have been littered with deception and destructive strongholds.The Spread Truth team went out to the community to evangelize and we are grateful to God for the souls that came to Christ and the prayers offered to others.
The final day was exciting as it was fulfilling.
The young people of Miruriiri came out in numbers to celebrate their own as they competed in the soccer and volleyball finals.
After the sporting dust had settled, we all gathered for a moment of celebrating the events of the past few days and awarding excellence.
Once again thanking our partners in the National Government through the Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs, the County Government of Meru, Huawei, Kenya Red Cross, Ridgeways Baptist Church and the local community.
